The Crandall Independent School District Department of Athletics is committed to excellence—both on the field and in the classroom. We believe that athletics is an extension of the educational experience, providing students with the opportunity to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally through teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

Our mission is to support the holistic development of student-athletes, helping them achieve success not just in competition, but in life. We are dedicated to creating an environment that:

  • Promotes academic achievement as a foundation for long-term success

  • Upholds the highest standards of honor, integrity, and sportsmanship

  • Develops student-athletes into leaders, role models, and responsible citizens

  • Encourages teamwork, resilience, and character

  • Fosters a culture of inclusivity, equity, and opportunity across all sports

Crandall ISD offers a wide range of athletic programs, beginning in middle school and continuing through high school, including football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, track and field, cross country, tennis, golf, powerlifting, cheerleading, and more.

Whether competing for district championships or representing Pirate pride in the classroom, our student-athletes are held to high standards and supported by a team of dedicated coaches, teachers, and administrators.

Together, we are building champions in sports and in life in Pirate Nation!
