Visitor Management

Visitor Management

Crandall ISD is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students, staff, and visitors. As part of our district-wide safety protocols, Crandall ISD utilizes the V-Soft Raptor System—a leading electronic visitor management solution developed by Raptor Technologies.

The Raptor system enhances campus security by replacing traditional paper sign-in sheets with a digital check-in process that helps schools monitor and manage visitor access in real time. This system is used at all CISD schools and facilities and serves several key functions:

  • Instant screening of visitors against a national database of registered sex offenders

  • Generation of printed visitor badges that include name, photo, destination, and time of entry

  • Creation of student tardy slips and hall passes, allowing staff to manage student movement more efficiently

  • Real-time tracking and reporting of all campus visitors, volunteers, contractors, and vendors

All visitors entering a Crandall ISD campus are required to present a valid government-issued ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) to be scanned through the Raptor system. The process takes only a few moments and helps us ensure that everyone entering our buildings is authorized to be there.

The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority, and Raptor provides an added layer of protection by helping school personnel quickly identify potential safety concerns while maintaining a welcoming environment for families and community members.

For more information about visitor expectations and procedures, please refer to the Visitor Guidelines in the Crandall ISD Student Handbook.
