NEW CELL PHONE LAW

Attention Crandall ISD Families: A new state law will impact student cell phone use starting in the 2025-2026 school year.

Under Texas House Bill 1481:
  • Students may not use cell phones inside school buildings during instructional hours.
  • Schools must adopt and enforce policies to comply.

Crandall ISD is currently reviewing our policies to meet these new requirements. More details will be shared before the start of the school year so families can prepare.

Thank you for your support as we continue to create the best learning environment for our students!

125 Years in Crandall ISD

Do You Know Someone with Stories from Crandall ISD’s Past?

As we prepare to celebrate 125 years of Crandall ISD in February 2026, we’re looking for those who lived it — graduates, former teachers, longtime staff, and community members who carry the stories of our district’s early days.
  • Did your parent, grandparent, or better yet great grandparent attend CISD?
  • Was your favorite teacher also a proud alum?
  • Do you know someone with photos or memories that capture the heart of Pirate Nation?
We’d love to hear from them! Please share their name or help them send in their stories and photos!

Let’s honor the past as we sail into the next 125 years of Pirate Pride!
